Get ready to study abroad:
Deadlines? Visit here. Apply to EESA as early as possible to allow time for any necessary arrangements and to obtain applicable visas.
Apply for a passport! If you don’t have a passport, it is important to apply for one right away. You are required to have a passport valid for at least six months beyond the end date of the program.
Set up a meeting with your school’s study abroad advisor and/or your academic advisor to discuss your plans. Take note of all application deadlines for your home institution. Discuss your plans with your EESA advisor and your parents or guardians.
If you are planning to use financial aid, visit your financial aid office to discuss the transfer of your financial aid packet towards your study abroad. You should print out and bring the Financial Aid Disbursement form with you.
Late applications will be accepted based on the amount of available space in the program. Please contact EESA as soon as possible to find out if you can still apply for the term you are interested in.
You will be notified of your acceptance between 1 to 4 days after EESA receives all of the required application forms and payments. In order to hold your place in the program, a non-refundable confirmation deposit ($600 for the semester, $1,000 for the year, and $400 for the summer) is required within two weeks after your acceptance notification.
Please contact us any time. We are here to help!
