Academics
All of the classes for EESA-Ukraine students are taught by professors of Karazin University delivering the highest level of academics. These professors are highly regarded specialists in their field, passionate about teaching and the subject of study and all have experience in teaching students from the USA. Classes are a combination of lectures and discussions. Most classes are small in size allowing for individual attention to each student. Classes are taught in English and are worth 4 credits. Students are required to take 4 classes per semester for a total of 16 credits. Participation in the following two courses is a requirement of the program: history of Ukraine and its contemporary economic and political system. Russian and Ukrainian language courses are available at any level from very beginning to advanced. Students are asked to apply to an appropriate level of Russian class but the final placement is determined based on the results of a language test upon arrival.
