Eastern European Study Abroad is dedicated to providing a unique study abroad experience. The distinctive aspect of EESA-Ukraine is that students do not need to speak a foreign language to gain the benefits of studying abroad. Classes are offered in English and the Russian or Ukrainian languages are offered at any level from beginning to advanced.  

At EESA, we understand the importance of a successful study abroad experience and how it will enlighten your view on life. Cultural immersion is an integral part of our study abroad program. Through living in a different country for a semester and interacting with natives to that culture, most students learn more about themselves, cultural biases, and other ways of living than they thought possible. In the modern ever-globalizing world, it is important to understand the views of others, their culture and how our views impact each other in a world that has never been so interconnected.

EESA-Ukraine was established to provide students with an opportunity to learn more about Eastern Europe, its history, transformations in political systems and economics, and how these changes may affect our world. The program is based in the largest country in Europe, whose people famous for their hospitality. Social events and exciting field trips within Ukraine and Russia allow for a high level of cultural immersion and a unique insight on how this part of the world lives.
