UKR 310 Advanced Ukrainian UKR 370 Ukrainian Poetry and Literature Each course is worth 2-4 credits. Each student should attend 3-4 courses per semester for up to 16 credits total. 12 credits per semester is considered full time. All courses are taught in English with the exception of Russian and Ukrainian language courses. Students are required to enroll into at least one Russian or Ukrainian language course. The language proficiency test will be taken upon arrival to determine placement. History of Ukraine and its Contemporary Economic and Political System is a required course. However, this requirement may be waived if a student shows a proof of previously completed college work that may be a substitute, or if this course conflicts with student’s degree requirements. Students may enroll into additional Russian language courses with other international students at V.N. Karazin National University or directly enroll into university courses if they pass an advanced Russian language test. Please contact EESA if you wish to use this option.
